A low-cost colour measurement instrument for liquids

ColourChecker measures the colour of liquids and comes in two varieties:

  • ColourChecker On-line, designed to be attached to dyeing machines for on-line, i.e. real-time measurements in intervals of 10s or higher
  • ColourChecker Dip, designed as a stand-alone instrument for off-line measurements similar to a pH meter

ColourChecker Features

  • Touch screen controller with proprietary software running on Windows 10 IoT
  • Dye concentration range: ca. 0.01 to 10g/l
  • Output of L-, a-, b-values, colour strength, visual representation of the measured colour
  • For water-based solutions of up to 140°C, pH 3 to 12
  • Optional PLC-based I/Os, e.g. for the recording of other process parameters like temperature or controlling valves
